Why Is This For Me?
There are so many invitations and pitches for meetings, seminars, workshops and "special events" that any small business owner or manager should be careful in deciding which is most suitable for his or her needs.
Business Matchmaking provides unprecedented opportunities for small businesses to secure selling opportunities from government agencies and major corporations at key events. The program unites education, training, counseling, key resources, tools and special relationships with thousands of procurement representatives from the public and private sector.s
Business Matchmaking, a not-for-profit public/private initiative, was started by a partnership between the SBA and HP. In the past ten years, we have enabled over 100,000 meetings between small business sellers and buyers from federal, state and local government agencies and Fortune 500 corporations, resulting in several billions of contracts granted.
In addition, Norton by Symantec, Union Bank, HP and other sponsors make available special products and services for qualified small businesses enhancing their opportunities to sell to the most demanding of federal agencies and participating corporations.
