Eastern Region in Philadelphia - August 2004
More than 500 small businesses participated in Business Matchmaking at the Adam's Mark Hotel in Philadelphia, PA, August 17th and 18th, 2004. Thanks to our attentive audience of small businesses and procurement officers for their active participation.
The program was designed to assist both those companies currently active with procurement contracts and those who wish to start exploring relationships with private and public sector buying organizations.
Scheduled face-to-face meetings with government and private industry buyers allowed sellers to pitch products and services for potential contract opportunities.
In addition, SBA and SCORE counselors were on-site throughout the event to offer guidance on such topics as financing, business plans and networking.
