Midwest Region in Milwaukee - September 2005

More than 400 small businesses participated in Business Matchmaking in Milwaukee, Wisconsin September 14, 2005 in conjunction with the United States Hispanic Chamber of Commerce's 2005 National Convention. The event was held at the Hyatt Regency Milwaukee. Thanks to our attentive audience of small businesses and procurement officers for their active participation.

This one day program was designed to assist both those companies currently active with procurement contracts and those who wish to start exploring relationships with private and public sector buying organizations.

Scheduled face-to-face meetings with government and private industry buyers allowed sellers to pitch products and services for potential contract opportunities.

In addition SBA, SCORE and SBDC counselors were on site throughout the event to offer guidance on such topics as financing, business plans and networking.
