Southeastern Region in Ft. Lauderdale - November 2006
More than 500 small businesses participated in Business Matchmaking at the Greater Ft. Lauderdale Convention Center in Ft. Lauderdale, FL, November 16, 2006. Thanks to our attentive audience of small businesses and procurement officers for their active participation.
The program was designed to assist both those companies currently active with procurement contracts and those who wish to start exploring relationships with private and public sector buying organizations.
Scheduled face-to-face meetings with government and private industry buyers allowed sellers to pitch products and services for potential contract opportunities.
In addition, SBA, SCORE and SBDC counselors were on-site throughout the event to offer guidance on such topics as financing, business plans and networking.
