Southwestern Region in Dallas - November 2007

More than 500 small businesses owners participated in Business Matchmaking at the Dallas Convention Center in Dallas, TX, November 1, 2007. Thanks to our attentive audience of small businesses and procurement officers for their active participation.

The program was designed to assist both those companies currently active with procurement contracts and those who wish to start exploring relationships with private and public sector buying organizations.

Scheduled face-to-face meetings with government and private industry buyers allowed sellers to pitch products and services for potential contract opportunities.

In addition, SCORE, SBA, SBDC, PTAC, Women's Business Center, and other resource partners were on-site throughout the event to offer guidance on such topics as financing, business plans and networking.
