Chicago Regional in Rosemont, IL - September 2009

More than 350 small businesses owners participated in Business Matchmaking at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, IL, September 16, 2009. Thanks to our attentive audience of small businesses and procurement officers for their active participation.

The program was designed to assist both those companies currently active with procurement contracts and those who wish to start exploring relationships with private and public sector buying organizations.

Scheduled face-to-face meetings with government and private industry buyers allowed sellers to pitch products and services for potential contract opportunities.

In addition, SCORE, SBA, SBDC and other resource partners were on site throughout the event to offer guidance on such topics as financing, business plans and networking.
